I don't want to open a new thread for this question, so I ask you here. Why it isn't possible to introduce a anti-cheat-system like punkbuster or somethin' similiar? Sorry if it's a stupid question, but in server-questions I'm still totally uninformed :))

The idea about autospectating in 6 secs after no spawn is good.

About the return form spectate mode - I've read all your posts in amxmodx community. :) I know you have that feature.

About the server IP - it is not my server. As I said - I'm administrator in a lot of servers out there. :) It was the [noob] clan server. I usually do not play severian mod or alternatives, I do not like the fast shotgun and crossbow. I'm clean HLDM player. :) So I have HLDM server running on my machine. :P But you guys love bhoping too much so you won't like it. But that's another topic. Have fun and enjoy life! :P

Hmm, I think this time we can make a difference, and you can show us your server's ip ;) At least until our 3! servers are back online again :(

About spectators have to retry: ujjl_mod is powerful enough to let spectators join back to game - with a respawn (full health, loose all battery and weapons) - But it is disabled, to avoid players taking advantage of constantly going into spec and go back to game. If anyone have some idea how to let everyone join into game without taking advantage from going spec when he is in trouble and joining back to game when he thinks its safe...

My current idea is to implement bubble_mod's feature: when you are dead more than 6 second, you will put into spectator mode. And you can join into game with a click. And spectate command is disabled.

In hldm (or the way you call it - normal hl...) you just need to type allow_spectators 1 in the server console and every player will be able to go to spectators mode - no restart or mapchange needed.

I'm 100% sure that sev mod is missing the command.

There is a way to put a newly connected player in spectators mode, but as you said he will have to reconnect to disable it - so it is meaningless.

And X_Raider - stop using hacks. You've just got banned for it by me in a server, using severian mod. (no names, cause it  will be commercial) :) Have fun with the permanent ban.

I dont know if spectator not present in sev-mod but there is a possibility. Try with normal hldm and if works there and not in sev, then you have your answer. Also everyone have to write spectate if they want to specate. Also there is no way to put freshly connected players into specator mode, so don't waste your time with that. Also they can't go back to game from spectator mode. They have to retry
